A typically robust encounter saw the lead changing hands a few times and a draw was probably a fair result.Ambrit drew first blood of the year when Francesco Gallo passed to Oli. His rifled shot/pass was turned in by an alert Francesco Sciotti.
Oli hit the bar in the first half too but St George's equalised before half time.
In the second half, Ambrit began brightly again but then fell behind to a messy goal. Francesco Gallo scored to draw the teams level and then Oliver scored with a beautiful glancing header off a well-struck Ludo corner.
But Ambrit ran out of steam in the end and had to settle for a draw.
