The Germans advanced to the final, powered by captain Jakob (today's Player of the Match) who scored all four goals in a comprehensive victory. The Swiss had started well, Rocco's early shot going close. Andrea and Francesco S combined well too to produce two early chances for Francesco but both went wide.
Then Giovanni exchanged passes with Jakob but Enrico was first to the ball. He kicked it away but it bounced off Jakob and in: 1-0.
Andrea was first to react but shot wide and then Jakob missed an easy chance to go two in front. Who knows though how the match would have finished had Andrea's header gone in just before half time instead of coming back off a post.
In the second half Jakob scored three more: one after a mistake in midfield by Alex and two of good passes from Giovanni.
PLAYER OF THE MATCH POINTS: Jakob 8, Leo 6, Francesco S 4, Giovanni 1, Oliver 1, Andrea 1.
