BOYS' FINAL: Bayern Munich 2-2 Barcelona (6-5 after penalties)

The two finalists produced a match worthy of the occasion, thrilling a packed stadium with a game that swung first one way and then the other.
Nawim shocked his team mates when his hand instinctively shot up to intercept a dangerous cross, allowing Jakob to put the Germans 1-0 ahead. Barcelona almost struck back immediately; Francesco T set up Francesco G and his shot was turned wide by Ale in goal. From the resulting corner, Caue thundered a shot against the bar. But then Francesco T lost a ball in midfield to Leo and he put captain Hoffmann in for a second goal.
Thinks looked bleak for the Catalans at half-time but Darien's change from goalkeeper to midfield seemed to transform his team and give them a new energy and sense of purpose.
Emilio was the second Barcelona player to thunder a shot off the bar and Darien almost succeeded in scoring from the rebound, but Leo cleared it off the line.
But no-one was more transformed in the second half than Player of the Match Francesco G and he made it 2-1 with a beautifully-struck shot into the left top corner. He followed up with a well-struck free-kick two minutres later and suddenly the teams were level and the Germans were in trouble.
But they managed to hang on for a draw and take the final to a penalty shoot-out.
Both captains missed their penalties but Luca Cerri scored the winner to give the title to the Germans and, as Mr Gianluca says, "Il sondaggio ha sempre ragione!"
