ASD Ambrit Football 6 - 2 San Pancrazio
Ambrit got off to a winning start to their new season. Oscar opened the scoring with a fierce shot along the ground but San Pancrazio equalized through a well-taken goal by their captain.
Oscar scored again and then Davide to go 3-1 up and the team was comfortably ahead at half time after Oscar latched onto a long clearance from Johannes and completed his hat-trick.
Oscar added two more in the second half.
Player of the Match was Nicolas who had an outstanding game in defence.
ASD Ambrit Football 3 - 1 Santa Melania
L'Ambrit conquista una seconda, importante vittoria contro il Santa Melania. La partita, iniziata in ritardo per il mancato arrivo dell'arbitro, è stata da subito molto equilibrata; tuttavia all'intervallo l'Ambrit era riuscita a concretizzare maggiormente le azioni da gol e a portarsi avanti sul 2-0 grazie alle reti del solito Oscar, abile a ribadire in rete una corta respinta del portiere avversario, e al gradissimo diagonale di Davide. Nel secondo tempo sostanziale equilibrio, rotto a 5 minuti dalla fine dal bel gol del centravanti del Santa Melania, di testa a beffare il sempre attento Johannes. Nel momento migliore degli avversari è arrivata la rete del 3-1, ancora di Davide, con un tiro non trattenuto dal portiere. Da segnalare l'ottima prova di Pietro, Player of the Match, e il tifo costante a bordocampo di Ale, ancora in attesa di fare il suo esordio.
ASD Ambrit Football 7 - 1 Regina Pacis Anguillara
L'Ambrit continua la sua striscia positiva, sconfiggendo agevolemente la modesta formazione di Anguillara. Con Oscar infortunato è Davide a farsi carico del peso maggiore in attacco e proprio lui sbocca il risultato con una spettacolare rovesciata al primo minuto di gioco. Ancora Davide approfitta di un errore difensivo per il raddoppio. Poi è la volta di Ascanio, che con un preciso tiro da fuori lascia il portiere immobile. Prima dell'intervallo ancora Davide e poi Nicolas portano il punteggio sul 5-0.
A quel punto Johannes esce dai pali, tutti cercano il gol con insistenza e la partita scende di qualità. Una bella punizione permette all'Anguillara di segnare il gol della bandiera, e il punteggio viene rifinito dalle reti di Pietro e dello stesso Johannes, per il finale 7-1. Player of the Match è stato Gabe, sempre lucido nei passaggi, sempre umile nel gioco.
ASD Ambrit Football 4 - 2 Dragon City
Sul difficile campo del Dragon City l'Ambrit conquista la quarta vittoria consecutiva: ora i giornali parlano chiaramente di fuga. I ragazzi di Corcoran, un pochino spaesati dal terreno accidentato e dalle porte molto strette, vanno subito in svantaggio per un'incomprensione tra Pietro e Johannes. Ma la doppietta di Aski raddrizza la situazione e si va al riposo in vantaggio di 2-1. Nel secondo tempo l'Ambrit viene nuovamente raggiunta dal Dragon city, ma i bomber dell'Ambrit, Davide e Oscar, ancora una volta regalano i 3 punti alla squadra.

S. M. Trigoria 3 - 4 ASD Ambrit Football
Bravo Mr Calento che ha saputo utilizzare i suoi anni di esperienza e la sua astuzia calcistica per portare a casa tre punti quando il campo inospitale e le tante assenze importanti minacciavano di minare l'inviolabilità della squadra.
Le reti sono state tutte segnate da Pietro, il Player of the Match.
ASD Ambrit Football 9 - 1 Casaletto
Despite an atrocious performance in the first half, Ambrit were leading 3-1 at half-time thanks to a neat goal on the turn from Oscar, an own-goal provoked by Ascanio and a delicate touch by Davide. It could have been closer had it not been for some excellent defending from Gregorio and some great saves from Johannes.
After a serious dressing down from Mr C at half-time, Ambrit improved the quality of their play in the second half and the passes and goals began to flow. Another own-goal, this time provoked by Davide, opened the flood gates; Oscar made it 5-1, Davide 6-1, Davide again for 7-1 (possibly the best goal of the game after Ascanio touched a ball back to Antonio and his long pass was flicked past the keeper by Davide), Davide again for 8-1 with Pietro sealing another excellent performance with the last goal.

ASD Ambrit Football 4 - 1 San Girolamo
In the absence of Davide and Antonio, Gabe moved into defense, Pietro into a two-man midfield and Asky into attack. The first goal came after Oscar had a strong shot saved and then picked up the rebound. He passed to Pietro who turned the defender with a neat back-heel and slid a precise left-foot shot along the gound and into the corner.
Pietro came close again before half-time, this time whacking a right-foot shot off the post and then Gabe ruined ASD Ambrit Football's perfect disciplinary record with their first yellow card of the year for a badly-timed tackle.
In the second half, Ambrit pulled Asky back into midfield and defended their lead. Johannes made a string of good saves and then Oscar scored on the break.
S. Girolamo pulled a goal back when a shot was deflected past Johannes. though he nearly reached it all the same. Ambrit were tiring and feeling the pressure but Oscar scored again to make it 3-1 and then rounded off the night with the best goal of the game: he shaped up to take another hard shot but then chipped a delicious lob over the goalkeeper-s head instead.
Nicolas almost added another when he made a surging run out of defense and shot into the side netting.

APD Portuense 2 - 5 ASD Ambrit Football
In this, the most difficult game so far, Johannes was outstanding. In the first half, he made a series of saves which kept his team in the game, allowing them to reach the break with a 2-1 lead. The goals were scored by Pietro and Davide and Ambrit were lucky not to finish a man short when Antonio got away with a yellow card for a reckless challenge.
In the second half, Gabe came in and changed the game completely by marking the opposing captain out of the game and he found time to make some excellent, simple passes too. Davide was the other player in great form , scoring two more lovely goals and Pietro weighed in a with a second one too.

San Pancrazio 2-1 ASD Ambrit Football
Ambrit left the pitch tonight with the bitter taste of defeat in their mouths for the first time this season.
Playing with 6 players versus 7, Ambrit began defensively but went ahead on 15 mins when Davide struck a strong right-foot shot past the goalkeeper. The team was playing well, keeping their discipline but San Pancrazio were playing well too (especially the captain - no. 10), moving the ball around cleverly at the back to bring the extra player into play.
They hit a post, they hit the bar and then they equalized before half time.
The second half followed the same pattern as the first. Johannes made millions of important saves and it looked like Ambrit could get a point. But the home team's patience paid off and they scored again.
Ambrit threw caution to the wind for the last 10 minutes but the equalizer wouldn't come.
The team can take some important lessons from this game and Mr Corcoran is sure to drive them home at teh next training session.

Anguillara 0-6 ASD Ambrit Football
Ambrit came back to Rome with three more points and their first clean sheet of the season. Ascanio was a constant danger in the first half and opened the scoring after 12 minutes.
He struck again early in the second half with the game's best goal - a neat chip under pressure from the diving goalkeeper, making it 3-0 after Oscar had scored the second.
Davide and Oscar grabbed two more goals and then Davide and Johannes swopped roles for the last few minutes: Johannes scored and Davide made two brilliant saves!
Pietro joined the attack more and more but failed to add his name to the scoresheet. Gabe had a few chances too but his finishing lacked conviction.
The defense, in the absence of Nicolas, was solid. Antonio had an excellent game, as did Gregorio.
Coach Moauro was pleased with the result, his only negative comment being that "the referee gave everything against us".

ASD Ambrit Football 7-3 Dragon City
After a shaky start, Ambrit put together one of their better performances of the season to win on a day of bitter cold and playing with one player less.
Ambrit went 1-0 down when the defense allowed the opponents' striker to sneak behind them. The equalizer came when a good Gregorio throw found Oscar and his pass to Davide set up Ambrit's top goalscorer for his first of the day.
Davide made it 2-1 with a strange goal - a high looping ball which fooled the goalkeeper and sneaked in under the bar.
A good one-two with Oscar allowed Davide to make it 3-0 before half time.
The Dragons pulled one back early in the second half - unfortunately for our defense, a replica of their first goal. At 3-2 Johannes made some crucial saves and then Davide scored again - aclever little toe-poke - after a nice move involving Oscar and Gabe. Oscar made it 5-2 with a shot of frightening power and then he chipped in a second. After giving away another one, Davide followed up a Nicolas shot - saved by the keeper - to score his fifth of the day.
Who was the best player today? Hard to decide. Davide and Oscar were brilliant in attack; Johannes made some fantastic saves and was dominant in his area. Captain Nicolas was sound in defence and came forward too and Gabe was a rock in the middle of the field.
But maybe best of all was Gregoria who played with his usual determination and focus but with a new assurance and self-confidence.

ASD Ambrit Football 8 - 0 Trigoria
Under torrential rain, Ambrit inched ever closer to the title with a comprehensive win over Trigoria.
Five goals from Oscar, two from Davide and one at the end from Capitan Nicolas. Many good performances, particularly from Nicolas and Pietro, today's Players of the Match.

Today's game was an even one and the score remained at 0-0 until mid-way through the first half. Oscar won a ball and took it into the left corner, opening up space in the middle. Gabe spotted the opportunity and ran onto Oscar's inviting pass to slam the ball home for his first goal of the season. Celebrations were cut short when Casaletto deservedly equalised, but Oscar converted a good pass from Pietro into a 2-1 lead and could have added another, again following a good Pietro pass, but his shot across the goal went just wide.
Ascanio and Oscar added two more goals, both resulting from good moves with multiple exchanges of simple passes, to take the team into a comfortable lead in the game and into an unassailable lead at the top of the table.

SAN GIROLAMO 1-6 ASD Ambrit Football
Ambrit were crowned Provincial Champions with this, their 14th victory of the season, putting them mathematically beyond the reach of their closest challengers.
Ascanio opened the scoring, Oscar made it 2-0 and Davide added a 'doppietta' in response to the host team's only goal. Another Oscar goal made it 5-1.
The second half was much more even and Oscar scored the only goal of the half.
